About Me

I’m Léonie Moreau, a French student at the University of Edinburgh, where I study Philosophy and Politics. My camera is how I explore reality arround me. One of my photographs was shown at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography’s “Street” exhibition in November 2024.

I chose the title Fragments because each image captures a piece of what I experience.

My portfolio is seperated in two sections:
• Black & White
• Colour

I shoot digital and try to capture as many precious moments as I can with my Nikon Z5.

What interests me is creating during moments of uncertainty, finding beauty in the everyday and detaching from what is felt. For me, the song Who’s Crying Now by Journey reflects how easy it is to get lost in how others might experience a situation, a feeling of mystery. In contrast, photography offers me stillness and clarity in vulnerable times. It becomes a way to find another focus

My Color Palette

This color palette is inspired by the primary colors, blue, red, and yellow which are the foundation of all visual creation, just like light and shadow are for photography. It also reflects the vibrant world of Pac-Man, one of my favorite games. Its playful aesthetic and nostalgic energy continue to inspire me creatively.
